This composite sink is made from some of the toughest materials available in nature. Using 80% natural granite and mixed with acrylic resin, this sink was molded into a durable yet beautiful design. In addition to being resistant to chipping and staining, the sink also has the benefits of being heat resistant to over 500º F. The surface of the sink is a non-porous, stone-like texture that doesn't absorb any bacteria or odors. It is thicker than stainless steel resulting in a sturdier sink basin. The material used to make the sink is colored and is consistent throughout the entire makeup of the sink. Due to the uniformity of the material, imperfections such as scratching are hidden better than in other sinks that just have a surface finish.
